I went to the doctor on friday because I had some bleeding. They did a blood test for my HCG level. It was 3500 and they did an ultrasound. They couldn't see the baby. Im only 6 weeks along. Well I had to go back 2 days later to test my HCG again and it was up to 6600! Is it normal for it to jump that high in only 2 days? And was it just to early to see the baby??
Here is a general guideline on hCG levels: http://www.americanpregnancy.org/duringp... human pseudopregnancy and somatization disorder :: Pseudopregnancy can be distinguished from actual pregnancy on the basis of hCG ( human chorionic gonadotropin) testing - this is the basis of pregnancy tests http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview/id/65104.htmlHOME |
For six weeks, you're within the normal range. The high end of it, but still considered normal. Pregnancy:: HCG levels should double during this time.” “Home pregnancy test primer” http:// www.parentsplace.com/print/0,,244736,00.html?arrivalSA=1&arrival_freqCap=2 2 http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=259246HOME |
And at six weeks, it's very common to not be able to see the baby yet. In a couple of weeks they should be able to see more.
Yes...I was 5 weeks 5 days when i started bleeding and when i was 6 weeks 1 day my HCG levels were 11,089 and then on wednesday at 6 weeks 3 days it was 20,255..i had an ultrasound bt my sac was empty...
so HCG levels are suppose to dbl every 24-48 hours...but then again if its a miscarriage it'll be awhile and the hormone will still show
Good luck
when i was 9 weeks pregnant my hcg lvls where 142000 they double every 24-48 hrs
Your Hcg levels should double every 48 to 72 hours.
Best of luck!
